Three competing student magazines using the same title "Harvard Magazine" published their first issues in March 1919, the third periodical issued at the same time was a parody. Additional publications using the title "Harvard Magazine" include a general interest journal issued from 1854-1864 and the continuation of the Harvard Alumni Bulletin, which was re-titled "Harvard Magazine" in 1973
