The aim of the study to demonstrate the factors of conference attendeesÕ preference criteria, and to describe the differences according to demographic attributes and conference behaviors of attendance. The confirmatory factor analysis was employed to determine the criteria of conference preference, and t-test was used to analyze differentiations between attendees groups. The data was collected from 246 faculty members, attended to one of national or international conference, and have been working in Turkish universities.
