An exact solution of the MHD equation for the flow of a viscous electrically conducting, incompressible fluid in a rotating channel (see Fig. 1) is derived. Velocity profiles and induced magnetic field profiles are shown graphically. The numerical values of the axial and transverse components of the skin-friction and of the volume flux of fluid are tabulated. The velocity field is found to be affected by the sum of the electrical conductance ratios of the two plates.
