• Washington—Influenza is at epidemic status in three army camps. 1,500 cases at Camp Devens (MA); 1,000 at Camp Lee (VA); 350 at Camp Upton (NY). Disease is in “mild form” according to Surgeon General Gorgas. Two deaths reported at Camp Devens. • Boston—70 deaths in New England within past 24 hours.
