Camps Have Reported Three Thousand Cases

• Associated Press, Washington, September 24—• Nearly 3,000 new cases of influenza in army camps were reported to the Surgeon General’s office by noon. This increase the total number to nearly 23,000 plus 390 pneumonia cases.• Deaths have numbered 113.• Camp Beauregard, LA, has reported its first case. Camp Devens had the highest number of new cases (616) for a total of 10,898. Camp Lee had the second highest new count (528). • Colonel Victor Vaughn, Colonel William H.
