Plague Abates Thruout State

Previous to this morning, telegrams and telephone calls for assistance occupied all of my time. I have received but one telegram and one telephone call thus far today.”• Thought that conditions are almost back to normal in Denver. • Officials warn public not to be careless and to still observe caution. • The cooperation of the public is credited with CO success in fighting off epidemic. “While the measures suggested by the boards of health in many Eastern cities were resisted by the people with disastrous results to the city, the people of Denver and Colorado have united with the authorities in stamping out the disease.”• Feared that tomorrow’s election will lead to a rise of influenza. Voters are asked to leave the polling place promptly after voting. Crowds are discouraged and police will make sure that they do not form. Election officials will wear masks.
