Fine composite manuscript opening with two works attributed to Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Maghribī al-Azharī al-Tāfīlātī (d.1777) in which he exposes the spurious nature of two circulating ḥadīth on Antioch (Anṭākīyah) and other supposedly condemned cities and Acre (ʻAkkā) and its spring, followed by the first part of a work of uncertain attribution (possibly of al-Suyūṭī ?) entitled Badāʼiʻ al-zuhūr fī waqāʼiʻ al-duhūr, addressing the Prophet, his lineage, family, special qualities, etc.Origin: As appears in authorial colophon on p.6, composition [or transcription? if not certainly fairly contemporary] of opening work completed 6 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1172 [?] [ca. 31 July 1759 ?].
