Shifts in the temporal and spatial distributions of water have resulted in a need to improve existing water management practices. In order to meet the growing demand for water, the Wyoming Weather Modification Program coordinated with the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) to evaluate cloud seeding operations for snowpack augmentation in the North Platte basin. There is a critical need to evaluate the impact of weather modification and quantify the increase in streamflow as a result of increase in snowpack.
