Its success is dependent upon the proper solution of a great variety of problems which cannot be solved by the growers, the shipping association, the commission merchants, or the consumers alone, as none of these see the product except in certain stages. For that reason it has been thought desirable to study the industry in every phase, from the production of the crop by the grower to its final distribution on the market. The purpose of this investigation has been to secure all possible information and data in regard to the various steps in the development of the Ozark strawberry industry and to study its many phases with special relation to the problems of marketing.Includes bibliographical reference
