Determination Of The Ecosystem Water Need In Hydroelectric Power Plant Projects And Applications In Turkey

Tez (Yüksek Lisans) -- İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2011Thesis (M.Sc.) -- İstanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, 2011Bu çalışmada; hidroelektrik santrallerde bırakılacak ekosistem su miktarının hangi yöntemlerle belirleneceği, kullanılan yöntemlerin özellikleri, ülkemizde bu yöntemlerden hangisinin kullanıldığı, ekosistem suyunun bırakılması aşamasında kullanılan su yapıları, ekosistem suyu konusunda ilgili yasa ve yönetmelikler ve bu konuyla ilgili görüşler incelenmiştir. Ülkemizde Montana Yöntemi de denilen Tennant Yönteminin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Ülkemizde Tennant Yöntemi uygulamasında nehir yatağına bırakılacak su miktarının nehirde son on yılda gözlenen akımın %10’u oranında hesaplandığı ancak bu oranın Tennant Yöntemine göre fakir veya en düşük su oranına karşılık geldiği görülmüştür.Ayrıca tez kapsamında , Tennant Yönteminin olumlu ve olumsuz özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş, ülkemizde görülen uygulama,işletme ve denetim aşamasında meydana gelen olumsuzluklar ortaya konulmuş,konuyla ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur.In this study, the following issues are discussed: the methods to be used in order to determine the ecosystem quantity of water to be discharged from the hydroelectric power plants, the characteristics of the methods which are used, the method which is used in our country, water structures which are used during the phase when the ecosystem water is discharged, laws and regulations concerning the ecosystem water, as well as the relevant opinions. It has been observed that the Tennant Method, which is also referred to as the Montana Method, is used in our country. It has also been observed that the quantity of water to be discharged into the riverbed under the Tennant Method application in our country is calculated on the basis of 10% of the stream flow of the relevant river within the last ten years. However, this percentage corresponds to poor water ratio or minimal water ratio according to the Tennant Method. Additionally, within the scope of the thesis, the advantages and the disadvantages of the Tennant Method are indicated, the problems that occur during the application, operation and control phases in our country are stated and relevant recommendations are presented.Yüksek LisansM.Sc
