Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are an emerging area of technology that have applications across many domains. By adding a mobile platform to the WSN we can increase its capabilities. One such scenario involves a mobile platform relocating sensors to fill sensing holes that are the result of sensor failure. We examine this problem, known as robot-assisted sensor relocation (RASR), and propose our own, multi-objective version, that we call reliable robot-assisted sensor relocation. We solve this problem using a set of state-of-the-art evolutionary multi-objective optimization algorithms.
