The present copy retains only the first line of engraved legend (CHRISTOPHORVS PLANTINVS TVRONENSIS), which corresponds to state Ib of no. 667, New Hollstein Dutch & Flemish, Philips Galle v. 4 (though it lacks the marks of punctuation there included). It measures 14.6 x 12 cm. vs. 17.7 x 12.1 cm. given in the New Hollstein.Tipped on at centerfold to recto of final blank in Getty copy is a double port. of Archduke Matthias and William the Silent, Prince of Orange, produced by the Wierix family of engravers.
