The reports appear in the set of Congressional documents, with the exception of those for 1872-73, 1875-79.Beginning with 1894, the report has benn issued in two parts: the Yearbook, and the Annual reports of the Department of Agriculture.The reports for 1881-82 were issued in one volume.The annual report on agriculture began in 1837 with a two-page statement in the Report of the Commissioner of Patents, and formed part of his report (making a separate volume after 1849) until 1862, when the Department of Agriculture was established. The head of the department became a cabinet officer in 1889. No report on agriculture was issued for 1846.Mode of access: Internet
