[[abstract]]CO2 waveguide lasers with segmented radio frequency excitation have been studied. With compact radio frequency coupling and an impedance matching circuit, uniform discharge is attainable over a long waveguide made of either quartz or alumina tubes. Using a simple optical resonator tuned by a grating reflector, these lasers are capable of wide-range line operation over 9R, 9P, 10R and 10P bands with maximum output power of up to 10 W.[[fileno]]2030105010009[[department]]電機工程學
