Idaho Scholar Talks: “Shakespeare’s Typeface” by Dr. Curtis Whitaker (Idaho State University) at the Yanke Research Family Park. Books printed in the time of Shakespeare look a certain way, from the color of the paper to the layout of the page to the typeface preferred by Elizabethan stationers. This talk will consider the fonts used in the printing of the First Folio and how modern typeface both draws on and departs from typographic custom from four hundred years ago
