[[abstract]]In this paper, we propose an effective watermarking algorithm based on a pseudo 3D DCT and quantization index modulation for vide against the attacks. The watermark is principally inserted into the uncompressed domain by adjusting the correlation between DCT coefficients of the selected blocks, and the extraction of watermark is blind. This approach includes a pseudo 3D DCT, watermark embedding, and extraction. A pseudo 3D DCT obtained by taking twice DCT transformations will be firstly utilized to calculate the embedding messages.
