Having access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) and digital devices expand the number of opportunities for economic upward mobility and social integration. Due to the low socioeconomic status of the majority of the Hispanic population in southern Idaho, they have limited access to digital devices as well as ICTs, known as digital divide. This limited access is problematic because it prevents the Hispanic population from taking advantage of work advancement, communication connection, and educational opportunities.
