[[abstract]]Powder X-ray diffraction data indicate that Nd2Fe14B-type single phase exists for the pseudoternary system Nd2(Co1-xMx)14B up to x = 0.20 for M = Ni, x = 0.08 for M = Cu and x = 0.10 for M = Ga and Ge, respectively. The unit cell volume V decreases for the smaller substitution element Ni, while it increases for the larger Cu, Ga and Ge. Room temperature magnetization of the Nd2(Co1-xMx)14B samples measured at 1.7 T decreases monotonically with x. Curie temperatures TC also decrease significantly with progressive substitution of Co by less magnetic Ni or nonmagnetic and larger ions (M = Cu, GaorGe).
