[[abstract]]This paper reports the true-coincidence correction procedures for an HPGe-detector system. The work involves five different source geometries and five different source-to-detector distances. Results indicate that the true-coincidence effects are significant at small source-to-detector distances, in addition, the true-coincidence correction factors can be established using point sources unless the measurement involves very voluminous samples.[[fileno]]2060131010065[[department]]工程與系統科學
