[[abstract]]Energy dispersive small angle X-ray scattering (EDSAXS) allows the scattering profile to be measured as a function of scattered X-ray energy at a fixed scattering angle with a polychromatic X-ray source in conjunction with an energy dispersive detector. As all the photons with different energies are all registered at the detector, time dependent phenomena can be studied. An EDSAXS spectrometer setup is described, along with the conversion of a raw EDSAXS spectrum into useful data. The importance of obtaining various correction factors to get a true sample scattering profile and the procedures to eliminate the background are emphasized.[[fileno]]2060135010006[[department]]工程與系統科學
