Recent development of recommender systems

[[abstract]]Electronic commerce (EC) has become an important support for business activities. Through the WWW, EC provides an efficient platform for interchanging the information between business and business (B2B), customers and customers (C2C); and customers and business (C2B). However, how to make use of huge amount of transaction data and identify potential customers on the internet remains a challenge for an EC company.
