[[abstract]]©1994 Elsevier - The effects of chromium (Cr) on the hydration process of β - dicalcium silicate (β -C2S) were investigated using the 29 Si solid state magic-angle spinning/nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS/NMR) technique.We found that soluble Cr3+ ions inhibit the hydration process of β -C2S. Furthermore, Cr(NO3)3 has the least impact on the hydration of β -C2S, followed by CrCl3 and Cr(CH3 COO)3. However, insoluble Cr(OH)3 does not show any interaction with β -C2S.[[department]]化學工程學
