[[abstract]]©2002 ICS-This paper presents two real-time scheduling algorithms to establish data sessions for quality-of-service (QoS) provisioning at next generation Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) network. The real-time bandwidth scheduling (RTBS) implements the early-deadline-first (EDF) scheme to make the schedulable analysis. Based on the channelization code assignment, the RTBS schedules the real-time packets to reduce power consumption. The power resource is consumed only if the packets are not a feasible schedule by the scheduler.
