[[abstract]]A combined heuristic and mathematical programming approach to transistor sizing is presented. Use is made of a fast heuristic algorithm to obtain an initial sizing of the circuit. The transistor sizing problem is converted into a nonlinear optimization problem. The problem is then solved by mathematical programming techniques. Experiments show that this approach is a good compromise between the speed of the heuristic algorithm and the power of mathematical programming.[[fileno]]2030223030001[[department]]資訊工程學
