The prevalence of mental disorders is higher in drug users and in the homeless population than in the population not affected by these conditions, although there are no studies that specifically compare the clinical and social severity of these two groups. We analyzed the relationship between personality disorders, substance use disorder, and homelessness using an inter-group-comparison experimental design. 311 subjects were recruited and divided into two groups: a substance use disorder group and a homeless group.
