This special issue of Catalysis Today entitled Green Catalysis contains selected contributions in the field of Catalysis and Biocatalysis that were presented at the 4th International Congress on Green Process Engineering (GPE 2014), which corresponds to the event N° 175 of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering. This edition of the GPE Congress was held between April 7 and 10, 2014 at the Melia Hotel-Seville, in the heart of Seville (Spain), and its Honorary President was HHR Don Felipe de Borbón, at that time Prince of Asturias. This is the continuation of a successful series of biannual international congresses, whose previous editions were held in Toulouse (France, 2007), Venice (Italy, 2009) and Kuala Lumpur, (Malaysia, 2011). ...
