Universidade do PortoThe purpose of this work was to compare the effects of four strategies of deficit irrigation and analyse the differences of physiology, vegetative growth, yield and quality of grapes of Alvarinho. The study was performed in 2014, at Quinta da Aveleda, located in the Vinhos Verdes region, in Penafiel. So the following treatments were tested: not watered control (R0), without any intervention; irrigation based on leaf water potential (R1); irrigation with 75% ETc (R2) and irrigation with 100% ETc (R3).
