Denying the existence of such spaces, and disregarding the quality of city space, can bring dire consequences for both society and environment, and it will be as severe as the extent of the dissemination of city planning negligence or naiveté. This dissertation seeks to justify how important it is to consider the perspective of the human being in the design of urban public spaces, researching public space history until today, investigating the different relations of space and influence among users, and what problems arise if we do not consider the human perspective in designing public spaces. In conclusion and assertion of the importance of a favorable human presence in cities, some principles and opinions of various authors are stated about socially sustainable urban planning
