In this paper we investigate the characteristics of the process that allow the exportation of some scientific concepts from a scientific field to another discursive community far from the scientific sphere. By focusing on the context of the primary school classroom, we analyze the oral discourse that is constructed in the class through interaction, intended to make students understand a number of scientific and technical concepts (heart, electricity, etc.).
