This paper discussed the phylogenetic positions of five Coccinellid genera: (1) Pseudasmilia is an intermediate form between SUKUNAHIKONINI and SERANGIINI, and nearer to the latter but may be more primitive; (2) Zaglaba is referred to SCYMNILLINI which is nearest to SCYMNINI (SCYMNINAE sens. Sasaji, 1968); (3) Cranaphorus, the type-genus of CRANOPHORINI. is very closely related to SCYMNINI and has not a direct affinity with CO RYLOPHIDAE; (4) Rodatus is quite included in COCCIDULINI; (5) Pristonema, and DISCOTOMINI, must be placed nearby COCCINELLINI and in COCCINELLINAE (sens.
