Reaction of cyanuricchloride with α-aminoanthraquinone

2-x-Anthraquinonylamino-4.6-dichlorotriazine (A), 2.0g, prepared by condensation of cyanuricchloride with α-aminoanthraquinone (cf.G. P. 390201), was converted to 2-x- anthraquinonylamlno-4-amino-6-chlorotriazine (Ⅰ), 0.6 g (31%), orange needle, m. 311~2° (decompn.) by excess NH3 in heated nitrobenzene. 2-x-anthraquinonyl-4.6-di-p-toluene sulfonylmelamine (Ⅱ), 2.0g (36%), yellow pdr., m . 295~6° (decompn.) was prepared, w hen 3.3 g (A) was heated with 4.4 g. p-toluenesulfonylamide, 3.5 g K2CO3, 0.2 g Cu(OAc) 2, and 0.1 g Cu-Pdr. to 180~200° 3 hrs. in 40 cc .nitrobenzene. (Ⅱ) is soluble in weak alkali, and precipitated with acid. 1.9 g (Ⅱ) warmed with 10 c.c. conc. H2SO4 to 40~50° 10 min., was hydrolysised to 2-x-anthraqllinonylmelamine (Ⅱ), 0.7 g (73%), scarlet pdr., m .381~2°(decompn.) In the same methode 2.4-di-x-anthraquinonyl-6-p- toluenelfonylmelamine (Ⅳ), dark red pdr., m. 241～54° (decompn.), and 2.4-di ctyanthraquinonylmelamlne (Ⅴ), dark red prd m. 359~64°(decompn.) were prepared through 2.4-di-:x- anthraqllinonylamino -6-chlorotriazine. New compounds(Ⅰ), (Ⅱ),(Ⅲ)(Ⅳ) and (V), were determined by nitrogene-analysis
