Laminar Radial Flow of Non-Newtonian Fluid between Parallel Stationary Disks

The laminar radial flow between the parallel stationary disks is one of the basic flows in the hydrodynamics and it is applicable to the viscometry or the rheometry. Then，the above-mentioned flow of non-Newtonian fluid is discussed analytically and the inertia-and the cross viscosity-effects to the pressure distribution on the disk are considered numerically. In this paper， it was assumed that the fluid was such a non-Newtonian one that its constitutive equation was expressed by Reiner-Rivlin model (power law type)
