The purpose of this study was to determine how effective a 10-week exercise program is to decrease blood lipids and what causes them to decrease. Twenty-eight untrained and healthy male subjects who have never had experience of Smoking and drinking were randomly divided into two groups which were an exercise and a control groups. The ten week endurance training program was supervised and performed three days a week. Training intensities were 80 percent of each subject's maximal heart rate. As a result of this study, it was clarified that the program was not statistically effective to decrease blood lipid levels although the levels decreased slightly by training
