Stephen Smith, the Federal Shadow Minister for Education, Science and Training, visited Notre Dame’s Sydney Campus today to meet with the Vice Chancellor to discuss the Australian Labor Party’s proposed policies on higher education. During his visit, they also discussed the special priorities of a national university with campuses in Fremantle, Broome and Sydney. The visit to Sydney follows his visit in January to the Fremantle Campus. Vice Chancellor, Dr Peter Tannock said, “This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the University’s newest Campus to Mr Smith and to reiterate the unique needs of a rapidly growing national university.
