On the 16 th of November The University of Notre Dame Australia received accreditation for its Physiotherapy program on the Fremantle Campus. Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Council, Emeritus Professor Ruth Grant wrote, “I am very pleased to inform you that the Australian Physiotherapy Council Directors have overwhelmingly supported a recommendation from the Accreditation Committee that Accreditation for 12 months be awarded to The University of Notre Dame Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) program.” The accreditation of a new physiotherapy program is a very rigorous process involving submission of extensive documentation and site visits in a 3-stage process.
