Strength characteristics of the sand with fine fraction reinforced by linear and sheet-like reinforcement

However, on the site, it is possible to use the cohesive soil and the sand with fine fraction as a banking materials according to the soil and condition of execution. And, it is thought that the effect of linear and sheet-like reinforcement changes according to properties of the soil when paying attention to the shape of reinforcement. The tensile reinforcement was inserted in the specimen that mixed the sand with the kaolinclay, imitated the sand with fine fraction, and the kind, shape, and interval of reinforcement were changed variously, and the compressive strength of the reinforced soil by unconfined compression test was examined.
