publisher[Abstract] Solitary angiokeratomas are dark reddish to blue-blackish warty papules. It may clinically mimic malignant melanomas, verrucas, pigmentedbasal cell carcinomas, blue nevi, or melanocytic nevi. We report a case of early solitary angiokeratoma with a single dark lacuna and a peripheral whitish veil-like ring in dermoscopy. A single dark lacuna may be a simulator of homogenous blue pigmentation such as blue nevus, though it usually has no peripheral whitish veil-like ring. Our case implies that dermoscopy and biopsy are essential for diagnosis in cases of solitary angiokeratoma
