publisher[synopsis] A solar cell is available for the optical detector of illumination lite communication system. It enables the long distance illumination lite communication system using white LEDs. The proposed system using a solar cell can achieve three times longer transmission distance than the conventional system using a Si-PD. Experimental results show that the proposed system can play a key role in long distance illumination light communication systems
