The objective of the thesis is the designation of fallouts of the Greek financial crisis in the Health System as well as the significance of the Welfare State in nowadays ominous situation. Firstly, it is presented an attempt to chronicle the evolution of the Healthcare System and the various financial, social and political factors that affect it. Furthermore, a brief retrospect of the root causes and the effects of the global financial crises are illustrated.
