An intervention experimental study was conducted to assess the impact of glaucoma education program (GEP) for glaucoma patients in King Khaled Eye Specialty Hospital (KKESH) in Riyadh City. The program was administered to 100 patients through one session and one immediate assessment. Another 100 patients formed the control group. The results showed that the mean knowledge rank, the mean ranks of the components of health belief model (HBM), and mean practice rank of the intervention group were significantly higher than the control group (p<0.001).
