Radon is a radioactive gas. It is a decay product of natural radium-226 and is found everywhere outdoors and indoors. It is released from the ground and building materials into the air. It is trapped in the lung, decays, and deposits its alpha particles energy in the lung tissue. It has different hazardous ending by lung cancer. Radon enters houses primarily from the ground through gaps in the building structure. It also enters from the building materials of the house and the supply water system.
