Aggression and violence are significant clinical problems in psychiatric inpatient units generally and especially in Tanta Governorate as a developed country, so Nurses’ attitudes& knowledge toward patients' violence may influence their behavior towards them. Thus, the aim of this study was to assess the effect of an educational intervention for psychiatric nurses on their knowledge about management of violent patients.
