The purpose of this study was to compare 3 instrumentation techniques in regard of transportation caused by them and preparation time consumed. Forty-five resin simulated root canal block 40˚ ± curvatures were divided into three groups. Group A: was instrumented with stainless steel K-file using a standardized step back technique. Group B: Prepared with Profile 0.04 taper 29 series system, Group C: prepared with Profile GT system. Both groups B and C: were prepared according to manufacturer’s instructions. The amount of material removed by each instrumentation technique was measured at the terminus level from the outer surface, 3, 5, and 7 mm level in both the outer and inner surfaces of the canal.
