The present study aimed at screening, assessing and categorizing or triaging nutritional status of .Egyptian adult cancer patients. The studied population consisted of a convenience number of 60 hospitalized cancer patients (53.3%)males ,46.7%females) admitted in the oncology medical wards at National Cancer Institute( NCI),Cairo University.Two tools were used,such as demographic and medical data and the Scores Patient Generated-Subjective Global Assessment(PG-SGA)sheet to measure patients 'nutritional status.
