This work was conducted to investigate the action of lead on some biochemical and hematological parameters of albino mice, Mus musculus exposed to 0 , 0.05, 50 and 500 ppm of lead as lead acetate in drinking water for 90 days . The data showed no significant differences in the blood parameters between the control and the treated animals, except a decrease in RBC count at treatments of 50 and 500 ppm of lead, and a significant decrease of HCT values at 500 ppm of lead treatment . Erythrocytic -ALAD activity is significantly decreased by lead treatments, the inhibition percentage reaches up to 90 % . Lead treatments caused a considerable decrease in AChE activity, but not on ATPas
