: Conservation of water in areas of scarce water resources takes a top priority in water management for agricultural purposes. Since the irrigation sector in Saudi Arabia is expanding rapidly it is essential that agriculture uses water more efficiently, particularly in irrigation practice. Under the arid conditions of Saudi Arabia, it is necessary to utilize the new technology to improve the irrigation practice and optimize water use.
