the effect of training on the change training needs, attitudes, and knowledge in relation to extension program planning and evaluation of agricultural extension in the directorates of agriculture and water in Saudi Arabia

The study aimed to determine the effect of training the change of training needs, the change of attituded. and the change of knowledge in the field of program planning and evaluation. data were collected from all extension mangers by two questionnaires the first one was distributed before the training course , and the second one was distributed after the training course. data were treated statistically by using percentages, means, standard deviation "t" test, chi-square, and spearman correlation coefficient. the study revealed that there were significant change in the trainees training needs, attitudes, and knowledge . there were significant relationships between some of the trainee's characteristics and their training needs, and their attitudes. no significant relationship were found between trainee's characteristics and their training knowledge . it was recommended that priority must be given to agricultural extension fields when conducting future training programs, taking into consideration the field of program pleanning and evaluation
