Synthesis and biological screening of some new substituted 2-Mercapto-4-(3H)-Quinazolinone analogs as anticonvulsant agents

The anticonvulsant activities of prepared compounds have been examined using the PTZ-seizure threshold test. Compounds 2a,b, 3a, 4a,b, 12 and 13a-c showed a significant anticonvulsant activity (at 200 mg/kg dose/level)
