Previous studies have shown the importance of the Glycoproteins during Sendai virus particle (VP) production. My PhD thesis aims at describing in details the involvement of the F and HN proteins in the process of SeV particle formation. This study performed exclusively in the context of rSeV infections includes: -Identification of the mechanism of action of the F cytoplasmic tail motif, TYTLE, during assembly and budding and its potential interaction with virus proteins and/or cellular machinery. -Determination of HN domains and residues, including the SYWST motif, needed for its uptake into virion. -Global understanding of the molecular mechanism of assembly and budding via the consolidation of outcomes from the two first studies and some ...
