We have carried out a study on the problem of coloured filtrations found in the analysis of residual nitrites when the technique International Norm ISO/DIS 2918 is used. I.t is observed that the recommendation of Official Methods of the Sapanish Ministry of Agriculture so as to use active charcoal {.n order to discolour the filtration does not solve this problem since it proves that active charcoal retains colouring additives besides retaining a high percentage of residual nitrite.
